Description:
With Skyline Drive meandering along the mountain ridges of this national park, we’ll have more than 190,000 acres of spring landscapes to explore. The Big Meadows area is world-renowned for white-tailed deer, especially for the fawns that should be appearing at this time.  The meadow is also great for wildflowers and butterflies. And let’s not forget about the black bears that might present an opportunity or two for the participants. We will have a variety of stunning vistas to photograph in early morning and at sunset. Exploring the many trails, we’ll spend time photographing yellow and pink lady slippers and other Appalachian wildflowers.  Other subjects include waterfalls, mountain streams, butterflies, and other Appalachian spring specialties. Bruce Haley, one of the most respected photographers in the country today, will be assisting. Bruce will offer up tips for adding a bit of creative energy to your images.
