It seems as though an ancient weaver created this landscape of patterns, textures, and colors. And as beautiful as the quite landscape is, the magic of the old wooden barns, granaries, and mills add just the finishing touch to this bucolic landscape area. The Silvermans have photographed and led tours extensively in this area and have personal knowledge of off-beat roads to beautiful vistas, friendly relationships with many of the local farmers, and return here every year. The variety of scope is unique in this area; whether it be watching the sun warm its way across the fields of greans, golds, and browns; or working with an old weather-beaten structure that rests precariously on the landscape – one is certain that this land was created as a beautiful supplier of bodily nourishment and visual pleasure.
