Description:
What More could a photographer ask for?  Rich red graphic patterns of rock against a backdrop of brilliant blue?  Add in wildflowers, stunning sunrise locations, arches, and stone formations that boggle the mind.  Nature has taken this part of the world and created a palette of design and color that bedaxxles the most seasoned photographer.  The locations within these parks are varied and the possibilities of capturing beautiful images is endless.  Join Matt, Susan, and Neil on this wokrshop that takes you to the heart of the color palette of mother nature.

Tentative Schedule:

Wednesday evening: Meet and greet and introduction to what we’ll be doing in the days ahead
Thursday morning: Sunrise photo shoot
Thursday late morning early afternoon: Classroom time (mostly Lightroom and importing, cataloging, storing photos – emphasis will be on getting a good photo management system going)
Thursday Afternoon: Photo Critiques with class
Thursday later afternoon/evening: Sunset shoot + dinner with class
Friday morning: Sunrise photo shoot
Friday late morning early afternoon: Classroom time (editing, Photoshop integration)
Friday Afternoon: Photo Critiques with class
Friday later afternoon/evening: More shooting. We’re lining up some mountain bikers and rock climbers to do some interesting people shoots as well as landscape photos.
Saturday morning: Sunrise photo shoot
Saturday late morning early afternoon: Classroom time (more editing, output, web, slideshows, printing, templates)
Saturday Afternoon: Photo Critiques with class
Saturday later afternoon/evening: Sunset shoot + dinner with class
Sunday morning: Possible early am shoot and more photo critiques with class
